Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 30, 2026
Chévere Spanish is a brand of Ceteryx LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of Wyoming, USA, with its address at 1309 Coffeen Avenue STE 1200, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, USA (“we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Chévere Spanish website and services (the “Services”), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Services, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information you provide to us
- Contact and account details: your name and email address when you take the free level test, download a resource, contact us, or subscribe.
- Level test and intake answers: your responses to the placement test and to the booking intake questions (for example, your goals and interests), which we use to place you at the right level and personalize lessons.
- Payment information: payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. We receive confirmation of your subscription and billing status; we do not store your full card number.
- Scheduling and communications: lesson bookings, reschedules, and the messages you send us by email, through the contact form, or through our business messaging channel.
- Testimonials: if you give us a testimonial, we publish your name, photo, or quote only with your explicit permission.
2. Information collected automatically
- Analytics: we use Plausible Analytics to understand traffic sources and how the site is used (pages visited, referrers, device type, approximate location derived from your IP address). Plausible is cookieless and does not follow you across other websites.
- Session recording: we use Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors move through our website, including mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and the pages viewed. We use these recordings to find the parts of the site people struggle with and fix them. We do not use them to identify you personally, and we do not sell them.
- Cookies set by Microsoft Clarity: Clarity places cookies on your device. Some of these are Microsoft advertising identifiers, including MUID, and Clarity synchronizes them with Bing. This means Microsoft may associate your visit here with the advertising identifiers it already holds for you, under Microsoft’s own privacy terms. We do not run ads, we do not buy or read this advertising data, and we do not use it for advertising ourselves.
- Technical data: browser type, operating system, and similar device information.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and Microsoft’s privacy statement explains your choices for the data Clarity collects.
3. How we use your information
- To provide the Services: placing you at a level, scheduling and delivering lessons, sending materials, and tracking your lesson credits.
- To process subscriptions and payments through our payment processor.
- To send service emails (for example, your test result, welcome email, booking confirmations, and renewal notices).
- To send marketing emails, such as learning tips and offers, if you signed up for them. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
- To respond to your questions and requests.
- To improve the website and the Services.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers that help us operate, described by category: payment processing, scheduling and video conferencing, email delivery, website hosting, and analytics and session replay. These providers process information on our behalf to provide their services.
- For legal reasons: if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
- In a business transfer: if Ceteryx LLC or the Chévere Spanish brand is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
5. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as you have an active relationship with us and afterwards as needed for legitimate business purposes (such as records of payments) or as required by law. You can request deletion at any time (see Section 8).
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Age requirement
The Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age. If you believe a person under 18 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Your choices and rights
- Access, correction, deletion: you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by contacting us at the address in Section 11.
- Marketing opt-out: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or contact us.
- Cookies: manage them through your browser.
9. California residents
If you are a California resident, you may request information about our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes under California Civil Code Section 1798.83.
